Bright and airy: a hand-carved white jaali headboard, ivory furniture, deep blue armchairs and a white marble bathroom.
Our Premier Rooms are where most guests begin their Udaipur story — a quiet, light-filled room with a carved sheesham king bed, blue velvet armchairs and the hand-stencilled Mewar ceiling motifs that run through the whole hotel.
At around 300 sq ft, the room has space to unpack properly and a small sitting corner by the large window, where afternoon light pours in. Gloss-black floors, framed Rajasthani miniatures and a carved mirror give it the feel of a townhouse in the old city, while air-conditioning, a flat-screen TV, fast Wi-Fi, a minibar and an in-room safe take care of the practical side.
It is an easy, good-value choice for couples, solo travellers and business guests who plan to be out exploring the City Palace, the ghats and the bazaars all day — and want a calm, spotless room to come back to. The attached bathroom is modern, with a glass-walled shower and fresh toiletries.
Every morning, breakfast is served upstairs in our rooftop restaurant, where the City Palace and the Aravalli hills fill the view. Lake Pichola’s Ambrai Ghat is a 15-minute walk away — see our guide to places to visit in Udaipur.
